We had a fantastic time staying in the retro-style rooms! Clean, cozy, and spacious, it made our family trip to the coast even better. The staff was super helpful, making us feel at home, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby dunes.
In my wife’s opinion, a small playground would be great for kids.

Clean room with a comfy bed. The bathroom was very tiny, though. Great location near a golf course, which we loved.

great access to parks and scenic viewpoints for weekend strolls
I found it super easy to explore the nearby Joaquin Miller State Park, just about 2 km away, and also enjoyed breathtaking views at the Muriel O. Ponsler Memorial State Scenic Viewpoint, only a short drive from my room, which was perfect for my love of weekend city strolls. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the comfortable bed in my King Economy Room, which made returning after a day of walking truly enjoyable, but I did notice the thin walls could be a bit noisy at night.

Family with kids will love it!
The cabin was really cute and comfortable. We loved the dog friendly vibes! The deck was lovely to hang out on, and that fireplace? Perfect for family time! Nothing beats roasting marshmallows while gazing at the stars, right?
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but all in all, still acceptable.

The stay offered a cozy A-Frame cabin with a full kitchen, perfect for our adventures near the sand dunes. Staff were personable, especially Edi, who made us feel welcome. While the cabin was charming and private, the outdoor space could benefit from some upkeep for a better experience.

It was just a great fit for one night with great value for the money. The cozy vintage room had a huge fridge and a Keurig. Bring earplugs if you're sensitive to a little highway noise.

Comfortable beds offered a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a road trip respite. The bathroom had plenty of shelving, making it easy to stow toiletries for a quick stay.
The bathroom was rather cramped, making it less than ideal for multiple people getting ready at the same time. A taller faucet would definitely streamline filling up coffee pots, and a lighted area near the coffee station would help avoid morning chaos. Also, wasn't thrilled with the $25 pet fee that wasn’t mentioned upfront.

Great family-friendly cabins near the coast
We had a lovely two-night stay in a cozy cabin that was perfect for our family. The kids adored the loft space, and the kitchen, while small, allowed us to prepare meals easily. The close proximity to outdoor activities like Honeyman State Park made our trip even more enjoyable. However, the road noise from Hwy 101 was a bit noticeable at times.
